Product Introduction
Zero-boundary polyethersulfone (PES) microporous filter membranes are developed and mass-produced using proprietary membrane manufacturing technology and state-of-the-art international filter membrane production equipment. The production line is designed and manufactured by a world-class membrane machine manufacturer, and the operating conditions and procedures for filter membrane production are fully automated by computer. The produced filter membranes feature precise pore size control and reliable mechanical strength. All raw materials meet the standards and requirements for pharmaceutical-grade filter membranes.
According to the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F838-15a method, batches of 0.22 µm filter membranes were sampled for a bacterial challenge test with *Brevundimonas diminuta* (ATCC 19146) at 107 CFU/cm². The bubble point test data of the filter membrane was verified by the bacterial challenge test results, and the two are correlated.
Performance Characteristics
● Complies with United States Pharmacopeia (USP) bioreactivity testing, in vivo biosafety, cytotoxicity, and hemolytic activity testing.
● For the 0.22µm filter membrane, all batch samples passed the bacterial challenge test with 107 CFU/cm² of *Brevundimonas diminuta* (ATCC 19146) according to the latest version of ASTM F838-15a.
● Optimized built-in highly asymmetric pre-filtration layer enables maximum flow rate and excellent dirt-holding capacity.
● The filter membrane is highly hydrophilic and rapidly and completely wetted, achieving excellent flow rate and high-throughput filtration. Integrity testing is easily performed.
● High chemical compatibility over a wide pH range and extremely low protein adsorption ensure effective filtration and maximum recovery of active ingredients.
● Compatible with standard sterilization methods such as EtO, gamma ray, and SIP/autoclave.
